Clearly an effort at enabling Al Queda, enticing them into making an another attack. They can use this new attack on American soil to finish what they started in the wake of 9/11. And following this attack, they will surely declare martial law, making their take-over a virtual fait-accompli. As well, they will then be able to deflect the wave of indictments that threaten to reveal the full extent of the massive deception they have perpetrated on the American people. This deception is a house of cards that depended on fear as its foundation. Of course they were able to generate this fear by wisely using an all-to-willing media that knows terror headlines sell papers and prime-time advertisers. But unfortunately, with time the hysteria following 9/11 has now dissapated to a point where government scandal sells better than terror rumours. This is very, very bad for the neocons. And so they have rightly determined that only another attack will deflect attention from their misdeeds and the impending investigations thereof that would reveal everything from Corruption, Perjury, Treason, Lying to Congress, to a Grand Jury, of war-profiteering, of improper use of government funds for personal political and financial gain....etc. etc, etc.. Indeed, if the whole truth were known I believe a new law, like those invented at the Nuremberg trials, would be needed in order to capture the totality of the evil that now occupies the White House.
